[edit] Third-Party Postal Services

  • Most third-party postage providers are web-based applications that allow sellers to print postage-marked shipping labels.
  • We provide solid integration with Endicia Dazzle and limited integration with Stamps.com. For best results and ease of use, we recommend that you use Endicia with FillZ.

[edit] Setting Up Endicia in FillZ

  • To print postage you must have an Endicia Premium account. To configure your FillZ account:

1. Click Settings.

2. Scroll down to the Postage (Endicia/Dazzle) box and fill out the Postage configuration.

[edit] Printing Postage

1. In FillZ click "Orders" --> "Postage"

2. Un-check any orders for which you do not intend to print postage.

3. Enter the weight and click on "Review Mail Method". FillZ automatically calculates the cheapest mailing solution even if you don't click this button. The estimate is based on the Zip Code provided when you configured your account (see "Setting Up Endicia in FillZ)

4. If you want to choose your own mailing method you have to press "Review Mail Method" first, otherwise the figure we calculated for you will be used as your postage rate.

5. Review the result and choose your own mailing method. Press the "Print Test Postage" or "Print Real Postage" and most browsers will ask you to save the file. Click Save, do not click Open. A file called postage.xml will be saved on your computer.

6. Start the Endicia DAZzle program on your computer. Choose "File" --> "Print from External file".

7. Open the "Files of type" pulldown menu at the bottom of the dialogue window. Choose Text, XML Format. Select postage.xml and print.

  • If you un-check the "Set status to Complete" box then no email confirmation will be sent. Orders on the page will remain In Process. You can change their status to "Complete manually on the Order page. A confirmation email will then be sent at that time.
  • You can upload your tracking numbers in bulk with your Endicia file.
