How to list a non catalog item

A non-catalog item is an item that doesn't have an ISBN/UPC/EAN, or an item that does not currently exist in Amazon's catalog. These items can be added to FillZ on the Single Item page:

  1. Log into your FillZ account.
  2. Click on Inventory.
  3. Click on Single Item.
  4. Click on the link that reads "(Switch to Non-Catalog Item)".
  5. Select Type (Book, Music, or Video).
  6. Fill in the blanks!
  7. Click New when you are finished.

Note: In order to add a non-catalog item to Amazon (an item that FillZ could not grab bibliographic data from Amazon for), you must provide the following fields:

If Book:

  • Type
  • Title
  • Author
  • Media (for Amazon's accepted Media-Types, click here)
  • Publisher
  • Publication Date (This must be in the Additional UIEE field as specified below).

If Music:

  • Type
  • Title
  • Music Label
  • Media (for Amazon's accepted Media-Types, click here)

If Movie:

  • Product Id
  • Title
  • Type
  • Media (for Amazon's accepted Media-Types, click here)
  • MPAA Rating

All types require sku, condition, price, and quantity.

Additonal UIEE: This box will allow you to fill in more information about your listing than what we have fields for. You must add a prefix to each line so we can map the data you've entered. To add a Publication Date, PBYR| indicates the data on this line is a year, and then you would add the year after this prefix. Here is an example of what you would need to type into the box:

  PBYR|1963
