How to Purge Marketplaces

Every 6 months FillZ will put a reminder on the Status page of your FillZ account to suggest purging your marketplaces to resync them with what you have in FillZ. When working online and transferring data, there is always a possibility of the odd file not being processed by a marketplace, which is why we recommend purging. A purge will result in FillZ sending a full file to the marketplace and the marketplace will remove any items that aren't in the file, and they will also update any listings that have changed and don't match what is currently showing in the marketplace.

If you would like to do a purge before the 6 month reminder comes up, you can follow the steps below.

These steps work for most marketplaces:

  1. Log into your FillZ account.
  2. Click "Settings" -> "Marketplaces".
  3. Click on the "Purge" button under the marketplace you would like to purge.
  4. Click "Confirm Purge".

Purging your Half.com inventory:

  1. Sign into your account on FillZ.
  2. Click "Settings" -> "Marketplaces" -> "Manual Purge."
  3. Click "Click here to obtain an Inventory Snapshot."
  4. You will be asked to sign in to your Half.com account in order to request the snapshot.
  5. You will receive an email from Half.com when your snapshot is ready. The email will have a link that you can click on to save the snapshot to your computer.
  6. You may want to ZIP the file if there are more than 2000 items listed.
  7. Log back into FillZ and click on Click "Settings" -> "Marketplaces" -> "Manual Purge", then browse your computer for the snapshot that you just saved, and upload the file by clicking "Submit File."

If your inventory is higher than 30K, please let us know once you've requested the purge as we will need to approve it.

Note: Please do not attempt to open the file you download from Half.com with Excel or any other product. This might corrupt the file so it won't work with FillZ.

EBay doesn't have a purge function, but you can do a refilter. For more information, please click here.
