[edit] Export Inventory

To export inventory, click "Start" -> "Exports" -> Choose Format and click appropriate export button.

  • You can export your orders in any of the following formats:

 Formats in italics are currently in beta-test.

[edit] Export Functions

  • FillZ experimental files are in tab-delimited text format and can be opened in Excel or Access. The following fields are exported:

·add-delete · item-is-marketplace · item-name · item-description · sku · quantity · item-note · will-ship-internationally · product-id · upc · price · expedited-shipping · item-condition · image-url · browse-path · category · storefront-feature · location · author · publisher · condition-id · cost · source · open_date

[edit] What Can't Be Exported?

  • Listings that do not have a value entered in the "Base Price" field
  • Listings that do not have a value in the Condition field (unless it is a Non-Catalog item)
  • Listings that do not have a value in the Quantity field
  • Listings that have do not have a check mark in the "Make Active" box
  • Weight field
  • Additional Attributes
  • Market-specific Prices
  • Modify Date

[edit] Changing Extensions

  • If you need to export your file in UIEE, but wish to change the extension from .msg to .txt, please follow the instructions below:

1. First, ensure that you have configured your browser to ask you where to save downloaded files. If you are using FireFox, click "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Downloads" -> check "Ask me where to save every file". Open a new FireFox browser window.

2. After logging in to FillZ, click "Start" -> "Export" and choose "UIEE" format under "Inventory Export". Click the appropriate export button.

3. When you are asked where you would like to save the document, choose a location and in the "Filename" field enter "Export.txt" (" " must be included) and "Save Type As" must be changed to 'All Files'.

4. You have saved the file in .txt format.

[edit] Sorting in Excel:

  • Click on the gray box between 1 and A at the top left corner. This will highlight all of the boxes on the screen so you can sort by a field and not have your listings mixed up.
  • Now you can click on "Data" and then "Sort", and then choose the column you would like to sort by. You can also choose whether you would like the data to be arranged in ascending or descending order.
  • Once you've made your selections, you just need to click on "OK" and you will see the results.
