To get to the Export page, log into your FillZ account and click on Start->Export

This page is split up to two sections. Manual Exports - Orders, and Manual Export - Inventory.

You can use this page to export orders and inventory from FillZ to your computer.

Manual Export - Orders:

Formats:

Amazon-Tab Separated Endicia Postage Quickbooks IFF Stamps.com Super D - pipe-separated United Parcel Service US Postal Service

Export options:

  • All Data
  • All Data (for testing) - choosing this option does not change the export clock
  • New Data - any new orders since the last time you exported
  • Date Range
  • Previous Report
  • All in Status (this allows you to select either New, In Process, Complete, or Cancelled)

Please Note:

  • Orders that are in New status will not appear in your export unless you are using the "All in Status" option and select "New" as the status.
  • Currently, when exporting a date range the last date the order was moved is what is referenced. For example:
If you wish to export sales with a date range of December 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006, all the orders in the report will reflect the orders that were last moved in that date range. If an item was sold November 24th but wasn't moved to complete until December 3rd, this item will appear in the export report for the month of December.

Manual Export - Inventory:
  • You can export your inventory in any of the following formats:
Amazon-Tab Separated Amazon Standard Book AOB BookAZine BookHound BookRouter (.txt, .new) FillZ Experimental Froogle Gemm Tab
GoogleBase Half-Tab Separated HomeBase 2.X Monsoon Play.com Tab Separated SquareOne TextbookX UIEE (.msg)
  • Formats in italics are currently in beta-test.

The possible export options are as follows:

  • Market Specific Prices: You can now select to export market specific prices in your export file, instead of base price. By default the drop-down shows "--" which defaults to base price. If you change this to a marketplace, the market specific prices will be exported in your file. By default, if there isn't a market specific price to export for an item, we will export base price. You can easily turn this off by unchecking the box beside the drop down.
  • Check Boxes:

There are three export boxes below the market specific option.

  1. The first checkbox will allow you to export items that have a quantity of 0. Please note that if these items are inactive in your inventory, you will also need to check box 3.
  2. This checkbox allows you to export items without price. Their price may be null (blank) or $0.00.
  3. The last box can be checked if you want to export inactive items. This means items that do not have the 'make active' box checked when you look at a single listing in FillZ. Most of the time this applies to items that have 0 quantity or $0.00 base price, however, sellers can check the 'make inactive' box even if there is a quantity and/or price for an item. Also, some items can be active if they have a base price of $0.00, but have market specific prices filled in.

The possible export modes are as follows:

  • All Data exports all items currently in the inventory (or all orders if you are doing an Orders Export). Future exports of New Data will only include changed or added inventory (or new orders) after this export.
  • All Data (for testing) exports all items currently in the inventory (or all orders) but does not affect future exports of New Data.
  • New Data exports all items that were changed in or added to your inventory (or new orders) since the previous New Data or All Data export.
  • Previous Report exports data using the same time span as the previous New Data report.

What Can't Be Exported?

  • Listings that do not have a value in the Condition field (unless it is a Non-Catalog item)
  • Weight field
  • Additional Attributes
  • Modify Date

Helpful Info: Sorting in Excel

Most files that can be exported out of FillZ can also be edited using Excel. You may find that you need to sort the data in Excel before you edit it. Here's how:

  • Click on the gray box between 1 and A at the top left corner. This will highlight all of the boxes on the screen so you can sort by a field and not have your listings mixed up.
  • Now you can click on "Data" and then "Sort", and then choose the column you would like to sort by. You can also choose whether you would like the data to be arranged in ascending or descending order.
  • Once you've made your selections, you just need to click on "OK" and you will see the results.
