EBay Fee Increase

eBay’s Fee Adjustment announcement
We are aware that this new change will affect many of our clients. We have been receiving many requests asking if we will be restructuring our available filters. Before we implement any significant changes, please review some of the suggestions we have compiled that you may want to try using our existing features:
Filters:
You can configure your eBay settings to exclude particular listings from being uploaded to eBay. To use the Filter options, please follow the instructions included below:
- Log on to your FillZ account.
- Click on [Settings].
- Click on “Marketplaces”.
- Click on [Configuration for eBay].
- Scroll down to Filter and Promotion. Enter your parameters in the appropriate fields.
- To enable the changes, click on “Marketplaces” and hit “Refilter.” This will update your listings on eBay.
Filter and Promotion:
You can exclude listings by entering values in either the price specification field or in the sales rank field. Please note: if you enter both a price filter and a sales rank filter we will send items that match either criteria. For example, if you enter $20 in the price filter and 100000 in the sales rank filter, we will send all items over $20 and all items with Amazon sales rank 100000 or better. For more information on Amazon’s sales rank, please click here
Listing Duration:
The duration of a listing cannot be revised without incurring a fee. Therefore, if you need to change the status from "Good until Cancel" to a 30-day listing on the "Settings" page, all of your items will be closed and re-opened with the new duration (you have to click "update all" on the “Marketplaces” page for change to take effect). You will be charged listing fees for all of your items.
If your listings are already set as "Good until cancel," there is no way to just let them "expire" at the end of their 30 day cycle. If you want to remove your listings by August 22nd, you will have to close them on eBay and possibly lose some listings time if you have many listings with different start dates. Unfortunately, there is no other way to do this.
*We have recently made a very significant change to the functionality of the Listing Duration feature:
Sellers are now able to change the setting from "Good until Cancelled" to "30 Days", and apply that setting to brand new listings. When you save that setting, only new listings will be set to "30 day cancellation." All of your previous listings will remain in the "Good Until Cancelled" status until "Update All" is clicked. Once the "Update All" link on the "Marketplaces" page is clicked, all current listings will end and be re-listed to cancel within "30 days", applying a new opening fee to all listings.
To Remove Your Listings:
If you wish to remove your listings from eBay completely on or before August 22nd, you can contact eBay to close your Store Front.
If you would like to customize your listings on eBay with a pricing script, please e-mail us with your specifications and we will try to accommodate requests. You can also view some sample scripts here: FillZRepricing. We will be expanding this section in the following days and weeks to add new pricing requests from our sellers.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
FillZ Support
