|Amazon Charge When Ship|
With Charge When Ship (CWS), Amazon requires that all sellers confirm the shipment of orders on Amazon after shipping them out. Payment will not be passed to a seller until the shipment has been confirmed for an order. For any questions about this requirement, please contact Amazon directly.
To confirm an Amazon order, all you need to do is move your shipped orders to "Shipped" status in FillZ and we will send shipment confirmations to Amazon for you.
Please note that it can take several hours for an order to be updated on Amazon to reflect the shipment update.
Should you wish to cancel an order instead of confirming shipment, you can do so directly through your Amazon account.
If you add tracking information to FillZ before moving an order to "Shipped", FillZ will send the tracking number to Amazon.
Should there be a problem with Amazon confirming the order as "Shipped", FillZ will receive a report from Amazon then move the problem order to the order status unconfirmed in your FillZ account. We expect this to be an extremely rare occurrence.
Should orders be moved to this status, a note will be added to the STATUS page of your FillZ account to let you know.
If you see an order in unconfirmed status in FillZ, please contact us.
Q: Will FillZ continue to automatically email customers once there order has been moved to Shipped? Is this an option we can turn off somewhere? A: By default FillZ will not be sending confirmation emails to your buyers for Amazon orders if you have CWS enabled, at Amazon's request. Amazon will be sending communications to your buyers when orders are confirmed. FillZ does offer an override feature if you would like to have these emails sent out anyways. Check the "Send confirmation emails anyway?" box on the Settings->Marketplaces->Configuration for Amazon page in your FillZ account to have FillZ send these out.
Q: Can I confirm and add tracking through Amazon manually, then at the end of the day mark my FillZ orders as "shipped & no confirm"? A: We recommend that you DO NOT do this, because the option for "shipped & no confirm" is referring to confirmation emails. FillZ will still try to confirm the order if you move it to "Shipped" status, and if the order has already been confirmed, FillZ will receive an error from Amazon.
Q:You mentioned that we can go to the Amazon web site to cancel an Amazon order if we can't ship it. What would we then need to do with that order in FillZ? A: If you can't fulfill an Amazon order and you have already cancelled it on Amazon, you will want to move the order to "Cancelled" status in FillZ so you are not charged commission.
Q: What method will FillZ automatically choose for a shipping method in the shipping confirmation? A: By default, FillZ will return the same ship method that Amazon originally sent us for the order. So if the buyer placed an expedited order, FillZ will return "expedited" to Amazon. If you change the ship method in FillZ to something else, then we will send that instead. *Please note that ship method is only sent to Amazon if you are providing tracking information.
