Amazon ECS explained
From MediaSell
E-Commerce Services: ECS is also referred to as AWS (Amazon Web Services). This service is a tool Amazon provides to expose their product data and enable developers to easily build applications to merchandise Amazon products. This service is offered via an API and allows clients to search or browse the Amazon product catalog to retrieve product information, reviews, images and to integrate with shopping cart tools. In March, Amazon retired ECS 3.0 and as a result some applications and programs that used this feed no longer function in the same way. The older version of Seller Engine software (pre-Seller Engine Plus) used the ECS 3.0 platform. If you're using the old version of Seller Engine, you may want to contact SE to see if you can upgrade, as services from the old SE are being degraded by the change.
FillZ has already upgraded its system to be compatible with the latest version of ECS 4.0 and has been retrieving data without issue since the switch last week.
