Advanced Import

To get to this page, log into your FillZ account, and click on "Start"->"Import"->"Advanced Import".
On this page you can upload (import) your inventory from a file on your computer to your FillZ account.
This page is divided into two sections. One is for updating your inventory, and the other is for performing purges.
Regardless of which section you use, you must start off with these steps:
- Select the format of your file.
- Click the Browse button to find the file you wish to upload.
If the "Test Only" box is checked, your inventory will not be changed. You will see a status report of what would have been added/modified/purged had your file actually been imported.
Regular Imports:
There is really only one box that you need to worry about in this section, and it is the 'Allow quantity increase' box. If this box is unchecked and you import a file, your quantities will remain the same in FillZ if the quantities in your file are greater than what is already in FillZ.
Checking the box will allow FillZ to increase the quantity of your inventory in FillZ should the file contain numbers in the quantity field that are greater than what is currently in your account. Please note that we will use the number in your file. We will not add the number of items to what you currently have in stock. This is a safety net to prevent you from activating previously sold items.
Example: You currently have 5 copies of a SKU in FillZ. Your upload indicates a quantity of 7. You check the box to allow quantity increase before you perform the import. FillZ will update the listing and the result will be a quantity of 7 for that SKU.
Click on Import to start the upload of your file.
Purge and Replace:
The Purge and Replace button will purge your entire FillZ inventory and replace it with the data in the file you upload.
If you would like to increase the quantity of any items in your FillZ inventory, check the 'Allow quantity increase' box. Please see above for an example of how this works.
If you would like to delete more than 25% of your current FillZ inventory, you will need to check the 'Override safety' box.
Click on Purge and Replace to start the process.
Extra Notes:
- Our import feature will accept files up to 20MB in size. If you have a large file, please use ZIP or Gzip to compress the file before uploading.
- If you purge an SKU and that same SKU appears in the replacement file, that SKU will not be added. This is a safety net to prevent you from activating previously sold items.
