Q: I'm already set-up for a1Books as a FillZ user. How do I make sure I'm not being charged a monthly subscription fee?

A: Please contact a1Books at seller@a1books.com and they will ensure that your account is flagged for the promotion.


Q: When I look at the list of marketplaces in FillZ to activate, I don't see a1Books in the list. How do I set it up?

A: Until we integrate fully with a1Books, you'll have to activate as a Custom Market. For step-by-step instructions, please click here:

Q: What do I enter in the "FTP User ID" and "FTP password" fields?

A: When you created your account with a1Books, you should have received a User ID and password. If you're unsure about where to find this information, please contact a1Books at seller@a1books.com.


Q: What do I enter in the "FTP Hostname" field?

A: mkt.a1books.com


Q: I have received an email with the following message:

What does this mean?.

A: There is a file layout setting within your a1Books account that needs to be changed. It can be found if you log in to your A1Books account and look under "Edit My Seller Profile". The Default File Layout setting in the should be set to 'Amazon Format' . Inventory file uploads will fail if any other option is chosen. After you have updated this setting in your a1 account, you will have to log in to your FillZ account and try the purge again.


Q: Some of my inventory is not appearing on a1Books, where are my listings?

A: a1Books only accepts valid ISBN and UPC items currently. All items that do not have an ISBN or UPC will be rejected, including listings with ASINs. They will be adding support for non-ISBN items in the future.


Q: I keep getting emails with the subject "A1Mkt Data: Inventory Upload Error"

A: You could be receiving these errors for one of two reasons:

Either your upload includes SKUS that are non-ISBN/UPC or the dummy record that FillZ uses for debugging purposes is being rejected. This record always begins with the word "MARKER" and can be ignored. If you have any questions about these emails, please contact us at support@fillz.com and include a copy of the email.


Q: Where do I process my orders?

A: For now, you will have to process your orders in your a1Books account. Please make sure that the order is in FillZ first, before you process on a1Books.
